It’s official, honey pine has been consigned to the wood burner!

A THIRST FOR ALL THINGS BEAUTIFUL

Juicy!

Thanks to a new wave of stylish hideaways, boutique hotels and glamourous guest houses, getting away for a short break has never been so popular. The Vale is enjoying a renaissance fuelled by hi-spend professionals looking for designer accommodation.

Juicy Design is a company encouraging accommodation providers to take up the challenge and raise standards to attract and retain a more sophisticated all year round audience. One such guest house tempted by their credentials is ‘Blas Gwyr’, a proposed 5 star Grade II listed farmhouse set in the heart of Llangennith’s Gower surf community. The owner, Dafydd Llyr James, a successful producer at Boomerang TV said, “We decided to work with Juicy Design purely on their creative ability and commercial awareness. Their imaginative ideas and 3D designs have undoubtedly given us the belief and determination to see our ambitious plans through.”

So who are these design aficionados?
Janet and Juliette Pike are two rather unpretentious and modest fortysomething sisters from Barry, intent on helping people get the most out of their living and working space. Together they boast a vast array of skills, knowledge and experience coupled with a sheer enthusiasm of leading contemporary design. They base their success on the simplicity of their service and an selfless desire to give people unrivalled choice and control over how they get the very best out of their home or business.

Janet and Juliette’s decision to go into business was an inevitable one, both recent graduates of the University of Glamorgan and winners of numerous awards, they have a relentless determination to really make a difference to an industry dogged by traditional clichés.

“Ultimately we aim to create inspiring living and working spaces for real people who enjoy good design at affordable prices, and believe that good design is a vital component for strengthing brand image and competitiveness.” Their affordability means that even if design trends shift, clients can still keep their interiors fresh and fashionable.

Of course tourism is just one area benefiting from Juicy Design’s creative abilities. They also provide a host of design services to just about anyone. So whether you are looking to add sparkle to your living space, add lifestyle appeal to a rental property or want to realise the potential in your business, Juicy have the ultimate solution for you. But don’t just take their word for it... Garth Thomas of Prospect Place, Cardiff Bay endorses the girls’ talents by saying, “Creating that ‘wow factor’ has really made a difference, helping me to attract the right type of tenant and secure good rental income for my property.”

Juicy aim to help you get the most out of your home or business so, if you have been inspired by Janet and Juliette and would like to sample a free introductory consultation, you’d better get your Jimmy Choos on as I have a feeling that this duo are going to get busy pretty quickly.
