MEDIA RECEIVE~MORE THAN JUST MEDIA
An exciting new company is
being launched in the Vale of
Glamorgan. Media Receive
provides a one point of contact
for all technologies in your home
or business. Later on this year
they will provide a range of all in
Media Centers. Delivering to the
client ‘More than just media’.
The company is made up of four ex
forces technicians who served as
Corporals in the Royal Corps of
Signals. The only female of the team
is Ex RAF.
Media Receive is headed up by James
Steward who specialises in satellite
communications and multimedia and
Sion Buckler whose area of expertise is
networking and telecommunications.
The other members of the team
consist of Mark Simpson, whose
specialism is networking, mobile
telecommunications and CCTV, Jackie
Burns - Classified and speaks many
languages and James Lawland who has
a passion for home multimedia.
In a nutshell the company can
provide a complete installation
service, support and repair to home
technologies and small businesses,
plasma installation, home networking,
home AV including home cinema, PC
repair and business support including
business e-mail, monthly support,
telephone exchange support, video
conferencing and PA systems.
James Steward who came from Sutton
to start the business in Barry said “We
are the only business of its kind to
provide a 24/7, 365 business. We
understand that no matter what time
of day or night a problem arises, you
need support there and then and
that’s where we come in.”
Sion Buckler, Welsh speaker
originally from Llandough said,
“The offer services to high end home
technology users. We offer up to
103” plasma screen TV’s for the
home, multi room audio sytems etc
and the whole technology package to
small businesses, so that they are not
delayed introducing new technology
into the company.”
The team have also provided the
technical support for the skate park
launch at The Knap and have become
involved in a scheme to help raise
awareness regarding road safety.
Packs are in the process of being
prepared to be given to parents.
