VALE WEDDINGS
Rhiannon Adelle Knight, youngest daughter of Lynnette
Knight, married Jamie O’Donnell, youngest son of
Tom & Shirley O’Donnell
on Friday 13th July at Craig-y-
Nos Castle. The actual ceremony took place in the
Castle’s famous opera theatre once home to the opera
diva Adelina Patti. Despite it raining non-stop, the
couple together with 80 guests had a wonderful day.
After spending their wedding night at the Castle the couple
left for a honeymoon in Sorrento on the beautiful Amalfi
coast. Rhiannon, 25 years of age, has her own Coffee shop
catering business and Jamie, 31years of age, is a Manager for
Volkswagon Cardiff. Rhiannon and Jamie met three years
ago in a Cardiff car showroom when Jamie was trying to sell
Rhiannon a car. He wasn’t successful selling her a car but
was successful in securing himself a date.
Vale life would like to congratulate Rhiannon and Jamie and
wish them the very best for the future.

Jon Horne, Managing Director
of Cardiff Wales Airport and Ann
Marie were married at Fonmon
Castle and honeymooned at
home in the Vale! They will be
honeymooning later in the year,
but are, as yet, undecided where.
The original wedding plan was to get
married at Fonmon Castle and then
have a party for their friends,
relations and the village in a marquee
in the village that evening. However,
because of the wet weather they
changed the plans for the party
because the field was too wet.
With just one week to go Sir Brooke
Boothby came to the rescue and the
party was held in a marquee at the
Castle as well. Everyone did a
fantastic job to make things go so
well despite the change of
arrangements at such short notice.
Four Season Marquees and the
Caterers, Huw James as well as the
staff at Fonmon Castle ensured their
150 guests had a fantastic evening as
if nothing had changed.
Vale Life would like to congratulate
Jon and Ann.
