Ok, so the first issue of Vale Life is under our belt. How did we do? According to the many emails and letters that we’ve received, very well indeed! I’ve included just a few of them on our letters page.
It was hard to choose a winner but after much deliberation the coveted £25 Marks and Spencer voucher went to Mrs Mari Goodyear of Barry for her excellent poem which summed up our launch issue.
How was it for us putting Vale Life together? It was immense fun. I’ve
never met so many interesting people in my life. We’ve visited parts of the Vale that we’ve not visited before and I’ve come to realise that what we have on our doorsteps is breathtaking coastal scenery, amazing country walks and thriving towns.
