New Year’s special at Illtud’s 216
It’s easy for us to sing the praises of New Year’s Eve at Illtud’s 216 as we’ve celebrated New Year’s there with friends for the last two years. For this special night I’m looking for a venue which includes exceptional food, service with a smile, and great entertainment.
The menu for the coming New Year at Illtud’s 216 has a Celtic theme with a choice of St David’s Crab and Cockle Fish Cakes, Pantysgawn Goat Cheese Salad or Ale and Sage flavoured Lamb Cawl to start, followed by a honey and ginger sherbet with allspice to refresh the palate. For mains you can choose from Poached Salmon, Trout or Oven Roasted Sirloin of Welsh Black Beef with a mouth-watering Blackberry Bread and Butter Pudding with Black Mountain Welsh Whisky Custard for dessert. With Illtud’s own blend coffee and Welsh cakes to round off the meal, guests will be serenaded by talented Welsh artist David Cartwright.
Illtud’s 216 customer, and owner of Pritchard Security, Mark Chinn had this to say, “My family and I will be going to Illtud’s 216 for Christmas lunch and our company will be having our New Year’s Eve staff party there. There’ll be twenty five of us in all. We’ve been going to Illtud’s for many years now and particularly enjoy the quality of food, the atmosphere and the outstanding service.”
