PENARTH
Hello Gorgeous! launches in Penarth
The launch of Penarth’s newest hair salon was a huge hit. Guests nibbled on canapés and drank bubbly whilst admiring the décor and chatted excitedly about the latest addition to Glebe Street.
It’s a family affair with mother and daughter Sharon and Ashton Brito at the helm with Keith Brito having carried out the building work. A salon to keep an eye on!

JOLLY GOOD SHOW
August 19th was a day for the diary, a) because the sun was shining, and b) because people came out in their droves for the Vale of Glamorgan Show.
FONMON
Vale Show 2009 at Fonmon Castle
Held once again in the grounds of Fonmon Castle, the show attracted thousands of people who soaked up the sun, were entertained by the various livestock, horses and ponies, demonstrations and the many stalls selling all things agricultural and much more.
Our very own Vale Life marquee was a hit again this year. The handsome marquee supplied by County Marquees was very ably transformed into a WI meets village fete by the talented duo Andy Bradshaw and Peter Knowles of Hamptons, Penarth. The girls from Vale Life recreated the land girl vibe with pretty spriggy dresses, headscarves and wellies whilst the Hamptons boys were resplendant in their frock coats. All clothes very gratefully supplied by vintage emporium Forever Vintage of Penarth (thanks Melanie!)
A big thanks to all who joined us in our marquee. It was lovely to see you. We’ve already got our thinking caps on for the next year!
