  CARDIFF BAY
Mermaid Quay. What a waterfront!

A visit to Cardiff would not be complete without taking the time to spend a few hours enjoying the stunning waterfront location at Mermaid Quay.

Located just a stones throw away from the John Lewis store, head south down Lloyd George Avenue (follow CF10 5BZ on the Sat nav if necessary) and you cannot fail to miss it. Just walking though Mermaid Quay you will immediately be transported to a favourite holiday as there is definitely a holiday vibe going on.

They have a superb collection of interesting shops where can find quality Welsh produce (Fabulous Welshcakes and The Unusual Food Company), handmade gifts (Polka Dot), stunning textiles and homewares goods (Pethau Bychain), clothing and accessories (Zebra2 and Viyella plus CC) and even top designer sunglasses from Blink Optometrists.

You could even take time out to pamper yourself in the award winning Ken Picton Salon or take time for coffee at Coffee Mania or Starbucks and then move to one of the bars and restaurants for lunch. With a superb mix of both independent and national brands like Strada, Wagamama and Café Rouge, there’s something to suit everyone’s tastes and pockets.

If you decided to visit from 24 October to 1 November you can enjoy celebrations throughout the centre with fun, games, music and entertainment for all the family.
