Gauci Organic Candles launches
Cardiff range

Gauci Organic Candles based in Cardiff have created a new range of their soya based organic candles. The selection, imaginitively entitled The Cardiff Range has been inspired by much-loved places in and around the city.

Spiro Gauci, owner and master candle maker at Gauci organic Candles said, "I wanted to create a range that would remind people of home. Trial sniffs have already proved very popular and we're confident that the range will take off - especially as gifts." We'd like to say here's the full list but, if you know Spiro, you'll know he'll be adding to it soon.

■ Barry Island Berries
■ Coconuts of Cathays
■ Fairwater Fresh Linen
■ Grangetown Grapes
■ Heath Honeypots
■ Lemongrass of Lakeside
■ Llanedeyrn Lemons
■ Mynachdy's Mellons
■ Penarth Sea Breeze
■ Pomegranate of Pontcanna
■ Rainwater from Rumney
■ Roath Park Roses
■ Rosemary of Rhiwbina
■ Sandalwood of Splott
■ St Fagans Fresh Bread
■ St Mellons Strawberries
■ Tom Jones' Green Green Grass

Gauci have also recently updated their aromatherapy selection with a Relaxation Range which is proving very popular with, unsurprisingly, aromatherapists. There's a Sleep, Sleep Snore, a Sensual, Detox Power Blend and Energy - Wake Up Call.

Spiro says, "At Gauci, we really don't want to be the biggest candle business in the world, just the best. And, if we spread a little love and light along the way, that would be nice too." Gauci's holistic approach to candlemaking seems to be striking a chord with some quite high-profile fans waxing lyrical about the products. Angela Benfield of ITV says, "I love Gauci Organic Candles. After a long day in the studio they are just the thing for relaxing. My favourite at the moment is probably the Sensual tins, but there's always something new I haven't tried. They make great gifts too!"
