About Me
My biography so far......

Married to Freddie with 2 girls Lili-Mai (3) and Mollie (Moo) 18 months and they are both little minxes! If they didn't keep me busy enough, I have recently set up a business with a friend called Lickle Pickle (named after Lili-Mai...it's her nickname!) selling bespoke baby gifts online. In addition to this I also run a stand at a Vintage Market in Cowbridge (Happy Days, behind The Duke of Wellington) where I sell my own handmade items under the name 'Pickle Pie'.....and before all this.....

well 4 years ago I was a Senior Intelligence Analyst with Surrey Police travelling up and down the M25 writing strategic reports to help guide where force resources would be implemented, working on undercover Police operations and managing a team of over 15 staff...

...just a slight change, but I couldn't be happier :)

My ambition is for Lickle Pickle to be THE store people go to for their baby gifts and in the future to introduce my own line of Lickle Pickle children's clothing

Business activities, products and services
Lickle Pickle is the brain wave of two 'mumpreneurs', myself and Emma Griffiths, from South Wales.

Lickle Pickle's aim is to offer an alternative gift service for new mums and dads with bespoke hampers that are practical, useful and most importantly a wonderful treat for any new family. We offer the knowledge of being mums ourselves who deserve to feel that special 'touch' being a new parent brings, and in our wonderful keepsake hampers you'll find the perfect gift for your new "Lickle Pickle".

We aim to source all our products from local UK based companies (where possible small businesses like ourselves) and use only organic cotton for all our clothes and baby essential ranges.

We decided on creating an online baby hamper service where by co-workers, friends and family members can select gifts, personalise them and send them in bespoke gift wrapped hampers, providing new mums with not only useful gifts including new baby clothes and accessories but also keepsakes for the future.

With the help of some local funding through a scheme called Creative Rural Communities we were able to put our dreams into reality and set up this, our online store selling unique, personalised gifts and essentials for new families at extremely reasonable prices.

How did I get this far?
Determination, a fair bit of hard work and late nights (..and lots of red wine for inspiration!)

What drives me?
My children - wanting them to be inspired by mummy working but also to so fortunate to do so from home and spending so much precious time with them

For just one day I'd like to walk in the shoes of...
.The Queen!

My last supper would be
A roast (fillet by my husband is the best I've ever had!) and red wine surrounded by all the people I love and who love me, a hot sunny day on a beautiful secluded beach.hey it's my last supper!! ?

Album that changed my life
Don't really have one

Books that influenced me the most
The Lord of the Rings - JRR Toilken
The Lovely Bones - Alice Sebold
Every single 'Point Horror' book written between 1989 - 95!!
A beautiful children's story book that my Granny read to me whenever I stayed there - and my children now read at their Granny's house

Early bird or night owl?
Most definitely night owl

Most significant travel moment
Sitting drinking a G&T in the middle of a game reserve in South Africa hearing the almighty roar of a lion (we packed up quick sharp and 5 mins later were driving 6 foot away from said lion.awesome!)

Places I love
My Bed!
Oxwich Bay
Thailand
Byron Bay

Anywhere I can close my eyes and feel the sun on my face, hear the sound of waves crashing and smell the ocean

My mentors
My mum
My husband

When I'm not working I love.
Drinking red wine, spending lazy days with my family, photography, a good old knee's up with my girlfriends!

Five things to do before I pop my clogs
Sky Dive
Cook at perfect 'medium' steak
Learn to play the harp!!...failing that the piano
Write a best selling thriller
Go to Glastonbury

Life-changing moment
First scan for my daughter Lili-Mai - the realisation that I had total responsibility for this little person growing inside me

The cynic in me says
The cup is more often than not half empty

My bugbears are
liars and cheats
Lack of communication
Persistent Sales people

Creed I live by
Love doesn't make the world go 'round; love is what makes the ride worthwhile

I'm best described as
Late.!! And quite disorganised

Little known facts about me
I once 'appeared' with Phil and Fern on 'This Morning' to have a 'Yummy Mummy makeover' with Charles Worthington..my poker face was very good at the live 'reveal'.I now know that long hair suits me best!!

I am deaf in my right ear - when I usually tell people I get 'well you'd never guess..' .well no I don't wear an aid and my ear is still in place! ;)

I'd love to be famous.even if it were just for a day!

3 strengths
strong willed.if I want something done I can make it happen
Honesty (perhaps this is why I'm not a multi-millionaire!!...)
Caring - I'd do anything for my family and friends
