About
Me I am a 27 year old mother. I moved to the Vale nearly five years ago after completing my degree at the University of Glamorgan. I began The Travelling Toybox with a bursary from Creative Rural Communities and The Princes Trust after the birth of my daughter to create a flexible working environment that worked with my family and my ambition.

Business activities, products and services
We provide tailored birthday parties with our range of natural fibre, traditional and sustainably sourced toys. These parties are aimed at under 5's. We organise your party to be stress free, a gentle fun event with children's craft making, songs, games and rhymes. We are also available to be hired for other events, festival and playgroup sessions.

How did I get this far?
Hard work and lots of support from family friends, creative rural communities and the princes trust.

What drives me?
My family, a sense of justice, the environment around me and thinking outside the box

For just one day I'd like to walk in the shoes of...
Ghandi to experience real passion and dedication

My last supper would be
in india

Album that changed my life
several albums by Sieze the Day

Books that influenced me the most
Anna Karenina by Tolstoy, A Thousand Splendid Suns Khaled Hosseini,

Early bird or night owl?
Early bird since the arrival of children

Most significant travel moment
Trekking in the Moroccan mountains with Tim and our daughter Oona, who is 2, who rode a mule. We hired the mule and a guide for 4 days, Oona was amazing we tied her onto the mule and trekked up little mountain paths to remote villages each day.

Places I love
The sea, Australia, Indian beaches, Somerset where I grew up

My mentors
my mum and dad, and my close friends

When I'm not working I love.
gardening, spending time outside, having fun with our kids

Five things to do before I pop my clogs
Horse ride across Mongolia, return to India, live in one place for 10 years so I can grow a beautiful and fruitful garden, watch our children grow into adults - I'm curious about what kind of people they will be and the decisions they will make, write a book of my experiences living as part of a low impact community.

Life-changing moment
giving birth to my daughter, in our home, such an empowering and euphoric experience

The cynic in me says
will we ever learn?

My bugbears are
rude and grumpy people, wasteful people, those without respect for others

Creed I live by
smile, do your best, work hard, enjoy yourself, anything is possible if you work at it.

I'm best described
as friendly, outgoing, confident and level headed

Little known facts about me
I did a diploma in nutrition

3 strengths
efficient, hard working, dependable
