ST DONATS
End of the rainbow for Treasure Trove

Treasure Trove is a charity which provides a week long residential project for 40 or so young people, both with and without a physical disability, aged between 16 to 25 years old who take part in a variety of activities on a totally integrated basis.

This year Treasure Trove are based at the United World College of the Atlantic, St Donats Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan from the 17th - 24th July, 2010. On Friday 23rd July from 5.30pm until 7pm, Treasure Trove will be holding an event at St Donats Castle to view and experience what the young people have achieved during the project and to celebrate the charity's 50th, and final, birthday. Sadly, due to lack of funds, this superb charity will not be able to continue beyond 2010. "All this said, we plan to make Treasure Trove 2010 the best ever," said Trustee of Treasure Trove, Martin Gibson. "We have been making our plans for the week as always and we'll have got some new and exciting activities, new venues to visit and, of course, fun and friendship that has made Treasure Trove so special to us all."

The charity has plans to produce a book to commemorate Treasure Trove and is looking for participants past and present to share some old photographs or special memories of their experiences and the impact Treasure Trove has had over the years.

Photographs and memories can be sent to Martin Gibson at
