A bright investment with Elltec Solar

Choosing solar electricity for your home is more than just a commercial decision. We talk to Vernon and Sue Hanson from Lisvane who tell us more.

"The generous terms of the Feed in Tariff, a government backed scheme which pays you for the solar electricity you make, made it an attractive investment for our savings, especially as the money you make from solar electricity is tax free. We also liked the idea of generating our own clean energy and doing our bit to reduce the carbon footprint. We looked in to it thoroughly and realised that our house, with its south facing roof, was ideal and that we would be able to generate around two thirds of our electrical needs with a solar electricity system. We met with a number of solar companies but chose Elltec Solar Electricity for two reasons. Firstly, their price was the most competitive and, secondly, we were impressed by Richard's technical knowledge and electrical background and felt he was someone we could trust. We liked the fact that Elltec isn't fronted by a sales person but the same person who installs the system and knows the technology inside out.

For us, a solar electricity system is an investment in every respect. Our money is earning more interest than it would in a building society and we are able to help the planet, too."

The benefits of PV solar electricity panels are:
■ A vast reduction in electricity bills
■ A clean, renewable, source of micro
generation electricity
■ Adds value to property
■ Works all year round during daylight
hours
■ No maintenance
■ Quick installation
