St David's Polo rides again this summer

This year, the St David's Polo website promised to raise the bar for quality and entertainment for the 2010 event. The 'sport of kings' returned to the beautiful grounds of Fonmon Castle and raise the bar they certainly did.

A very glamorous crowd watched the Wales v Italian teams in glorious sunshine. Great food, great wine, great polo - who could ask for more?

True followers of this fast, skillful and exciting game will be delighted to hear that Wales v South America will be playing at the Monmouth Showground on 30 August and Wales v Spain at Coopers Field, Cardiff on 19 September. Tournament Director, Geoff Lloyd said, "Fonmon really was a fantastic event and we intend to repeat its success in Monmouth and Cardiff later in the summer."

The game of polo is very fast, skillful and exciting and due to the close proximity of the play to the spectators it can only be described as a genuine 'adrenalin rush'.
