From warm fires to hot kitchens
When thinking of buying a new
stove for your home, Topstak
generally comes to mind. With the
introduction of a new kitchen
range to the fold, this family-run
business definitely has more to
offer. Vale Life talks to Christian
Pedersen to find out more.
People know you for supplying
woodburning stoves. Why have you
introduced a range of kitchens?
We needed kitchen units to go with our
display of Aga Rayburn and Esse range
cookers. We found the Chichester units
from Neptune Classics, which were just
right. The quality was excellent - and
the cost was a lot less than big name
brands that look the same. Customers
buying our woodburning stoves really
liked the kitchen units and asked if we
sold them. Kitchens are now a growing
part of our business, and we have taken
on a kitchen designer to keep up with
demand.
Why have you chosen this
particular kitchen range?
We choose Neptune handmade
kitchens as they are quite unique and
offer exceptionally high quality, at a far
lower price than many other bespoke
brands. They have a great choice of
units to suit almost any layout, a
limitless range of colours and the new
Henley oak kitchen is stunning.
Neptune take great pride in using
traditional cabinet-making skills and
only use solid wood for the frames and
doors. They use solid ply for the carcass
and shun the use of chipboard or mdf.
Attention to detail is another big plus,
such as the soft close Blum runners for
the drawers and stainless steel fixings
for easy installation.
You've recently been appointed local stockists for the new Chesney's National Trust Stoves. Can you enlighten us?
We were delighted to be chosen as the exclusive Chesney's stove dealers for South Wales. These stoves are a completely new range of very efficient clean burning stoves in a choice of classic and contemporary styling. They really complement our current premium brands which include Clearview, Woodwarm and STUV.
We offer a one-stop-shop for stoves and kitchens that offer great quality at very competitive prices and we can provide a complete installation service for all our stoves and kitchens.
