St David’s Polo Club Presents GlanuskPolo Summer Party Saturday 18th
July 2009

We are privileged to have been invited by the Legge-Bourke family to their beautiful Country Estate in Crickhowel Nr Abergavenny to present a charity polo match in support of the Prince's Trust Cymru.

The occasion will be historic, as it is the first Polo Match to be played in the area since 1872, when Capt Francis "Tip" Herbert presented the first ever competitive polo match to be played in UK in front of the then Prince of Wales, later King Edward the VII, at his brothers estate at Clytha Park Nr Abergavenny.

To celebrate the return of Polo to this area we have selected two invitation teams with playing representatives from Wales and South America to compete for a Celebration Trophy to mark the significance of the occasion and we welcome you to view our website www.glanuskpolo.com to see what is on offer.

For visitors travelling from Cardiff and district we are providing luxury air conditioned coaches departing from Sophia Gardens Cardiff to Glanusk Estate for a return fare of only £10.  The coaches will depart at 11am arriving at Glanusk at 12.15 and return at 10.15pm arriving in Cardiff at 11.30pm

Guests who select the Hospitality package will travel free of charge.

Do not miss this unique Summer Party it comes highly recommended.
