Jane Egan decided to organise a Fashion Show following her father suffering a major stroke earlier this year:  “Both dad and I were absolutely devastated. The advice and support that we received from The Stroke Association was tremendous.  The Evening of Style is an opportunity to say thank you, with all proceeds from the evening being donated to these wonderful people, to help them help others who find themselves in a similar situation.  I am pleased to say that my father has made a phenomenal recovery, although there is still some way to go.”

Louise Bennett, Fundraising Manager from The Stroke Association said: “We need the support of volunteers such as Jane to not only raise crucial funds so we can continue our work with stroke survivors but also to raise awareness of stroke.  Events such as An Evening of Style help spread the message about stroke prevention in the wider community and help us to continue our work with stroke clients and their families.” 

Owen Money, who himself has suffered a stroke and recently ran the Cardiff Half Marathon for The Stroke Association will be attending the event and bringing his daughter Katie, who will be singing for the audience.
