NEW SUMMER ROUTES INTRODUCED
TO CARDIFF AIRPORT

Thomas Cook UK & Ireland has announced two new flight routes to be operated this summer direct from Cardiff Airport, to the Costa del Sol in Spain and Monastir in Tunisia.  The introduction of these popular holiday destinations will mean that holidaymakers can now fly from the airport to 21 hotspots to enjoy a summer retreat.

Ian Derbyshire, CEO of Thomas Cook UK & Ireland, said: “We want to make it as convenient as possible for our customers to go on holiday. By adding these extra summer flight routes from Cardiff Airport, holidaymakers now have even more destinations to choose from, which are easily accessible from their local airport.”  

Thomas Cook already operates flights from Cardiff Airport to the Canary Islands, Spain, Turkey, Portugal, Crete, Balearic Islands, Cyprus, Malta, Greece and Egypt.

Costa del Sol, Spain

Flights to the Costa del Sol will run from May to October.  With plenty of good beaches and watersports centres, you can be as active or as relaxed as you wish. There’s a vibrant nightlife to suit all tastes and for a sophisticated experience, holidaymakers can head to Marbella or Puerto Banus.

Monastir, Tunisia

Flights to Monastir will run from May to October. Enjoy a North African adventure in Tunisia where you can explore winding alleyways filled with street vendors and bustling shops, colourful souks, cafes and restaurants. Desert safaris are available inland and to the east coast, there are seemingly endless white sandy beaches.
