FREE TRAINING FOR ORGANISATIONS IN THE RURAL VALE OF GLAMORGAN 

Vale Centre for Voluntary Services is pleased to announce that it will be holding a series of FREE training courses for voluntary organisations that are either based in or working in the Rural Vale of Glamorgan.

Thanks to a grant from Creative Rural Communities, 3 courses will be held during February 2008 as follows:-

4 th February - Basics of Financial Management (Llantwit Major)
8 th February - Minute Taking (Cowbridge)
25 th February - Attracting and Keeping Volunteers (Llantwit Major)

Clive Curtis, Partnership and Development Manager, said "We hope that as many organisations as possible will take advantage of this FREE training. We are expecting demand to be high, so early booking is recommended"

He added, "We would not be able to run these courses without the support of the Creative Rural Communities grant.  We are particularly grateful for this support as it will help build the skills, knowledge and confidence of voluntary and community groups operating in the Rural Vale of Glamorgan.
