If you'd rather your fruit and vegetables came without packaging and would prefer to pick your own locally, then head off to Llantwit Major.  The season opens in May/June with juicy, plump strawberries and continues through July with broad beans and potatoes.

Directions:  On the B4265 which runs between Llantwit Major and Barry. Signs on the side of the road into the field just outside Llantwit.  Opening times 10am until 6 pm seven days a week.

Why not make a morning or afternoon of it and take the family?
