PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
The Falklands Diaries

Wales Millennium Centre

Cardiff Until 30 June

A photographic and written diary based on a journey to the Falkland Islands by South American photographer Diego Vidart, who lives in Cardiff, and Welsh writer Desmond Barry, called The Falkland Diaries,
will be displayed on the first and second balconies at Wales Millennium Centre until 30 June 2007.

In February this year, Vidart and Barry, who teaches creative writing
at the University of Glamorgan, travelled to the Falklands Islands where they documented their experiences. This exhibition is a vision of the richness and complexity of life in the Falklands today and combines image and prose in one installation with panoramic images, travelogue, dream and fiction.
