How long has Multifurnish been trading?
Two years.
In a nutshell, what does Multifurnish do?
We supply furniture, floor coverings, white goods and ‘dress out’ items to the commercial market i.e. landlords, show homes, hotels, nursing homes, pubs and clubs etc. We opened our first retail outlet in February of this year after recognising there was a gap in Barry and the Vale area for a furniture store that supplies high quality items at competitive prices.
Who are your customers?
As well as serving the general public with our retail arm, our main business covers the whole of the UK and Western Europe ranging from furnishing a single apartment to a large hotel development.
I understand that you have different packages for this service? Although our unique selling point is the fact that we visit every apartment that we furnish in order to sell people what they need rather than ‘off the shelf’ packages which may not suit them. We do have a few example packages just to get the ball rolling and give customers an idea of makeup and costs. Please visit our website for more details.
Which areas do you cover?
The whole of the UK and Western Europe – mainly Spain, Portugal and France.
Is there a show home in the Vale that customers can visit?
Not a show home as such, but there is a 5,500 sq ft shop, which is used as a show room to our commercial clients – we then try to pass the discounts we receive for buying in bulk on to the general public, through this outlet.
