Julian Lloyd Webber
One of the world’s most internationally renowned musicians, Julian Lloyd Webber, recently performed live in the stunning St Donats Castle in the Vale of Glamorgan.
Following a marvellous champagne and strawberries reception, Julian performed pieces by his father William as well as his brother and guests were also given some insights into his famous brother, Andrew Lloyd Webber. Other favourite classics included and Bach, Faure, Saint Saens and Debussy. Julian, was accompanied by pianist Pam Chowhan. Julian, who has been described as a cellist of extraordinary class, also reminisced on his many collaborations with musicians such as Yehudi Menuhin, Georg Solti, Cleo Laine, Stephane Grappelli and Elton John. The concert was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

James Bond Evening
A great night was had by all at the Mount Sorrel Hotel in Barry at the James Bond Gala Evening. Barry’s great and the good were suitably attired and enjoyed a sumptuous five course dinner, fun casino, and disco until 1am.
The hotel’s new manager, Julie Bannon was Hostess for the evening and pulled out all of the stops to entertain her guests. A raffle of fantastic prizes raised a handsome sum towards the chosen charity.
