  COWBRIDGE
New terrace opens for summer

Good news for those who enjoy eating al fresco as The Market Place in Cowbridge has now opened its terraces to take advantage of the heatwave that the meteorologists are promising.

The restaurant, which has a growing following thanks to talented chef Tim Marriott, is set in one of the most historic buildings in the historic town of Cowbridge which exudes a timeless atmosphere. The original house was built onto the medieval town walls adjacent to the West Gate, which is now the restaurant.

The restaurant is deceptively large with the ground floor catering for up to 75 diners, the first floor function area catering for up to 28 people and the terrace and garden can fit 35. They also have a private dining den for up to 10 diners.

Whereas the log fire keeps diners warm and contents on those cold winter nights, the new terrace is sure to be a hit with those looking to make the most of the sunshine.
